01 — The Short Version
I'm a product leader based in Berlin, building software that helps Germany transition to clean energy.
Group Product Manager at thermondo. Two teams, one platform transformation, 120 sales agents depending on what we ship. Before that: Enpal, Friendsurance, freelance consulting.
02 — The Longer Version
I've spent my career at the intersection of technology and real-world problems. Not the kind where you optimize a click-through rate by 0.3% — the kind where software has to work because people's homes, money, and energy supply depend on it.
At thermondo, I'm leading a platform transformation that touches everything from how a customer gets a quote to how an installer shows up at their door. It's complex, messy, high-stakes work — replacing a legacy system that 120 people use every day, while the business keeps running. I think about data models, payment architectures, and rollout strategies a lot.
Before that, I worked at Enpal on solar energy products and at Friendsurance, where I built a product discovery process from scratch — securing research budget, validating ideas systematically, and filling the roadmap with things that actually moved the needle.
What ties all of this together: I'm drawn to hard problems where technology can make things meaningfully better. Not incrementally better — structurally better. The energy transition is the clearest example of that I've found.
I'm also increasingly fascinated by AI — not as hype, but as a genuine shift in how we build and think about products. I use AI tools daily in my own work. I think a lot about what responsible, thoughtful AI adoption looks like inside product organizations.

04 — Beyond Work
I've visited 45 countries and counting. I play piano most days — it's the best way I know to think without thinking. I paint when I have time, and I taught myself 3D modeling and creative coding over a summer just to see if I could.
In winter, you'll find me kitesurfing in South Africa. The rest of the year, I'm in Berlin — probably at a coffee shop, probably with a screen open.
05 — What Drives Me
If there's one thing that ties all of this together — the energy work, the product craft, the curiosity about AI, even the creative side projects — it's a simple conviction: the work we do should leave things better than we found them.
Be good and do good.
That's the compass. Everything else follows from it.
